I just read here http://eye-on-collegefootball.blogs.cbs ... 8/30909568
that Boise State can not wear their blue unis at home in their new conference. The other coaches claim the blue rags and the blue turf give the Broncos a competitive advantage.
Crazy man crazy.

Re: Boise blue
I've actually wondered a few times what would happen about this if Boise changed conferences.

Athens never seemed to bother BG much...at least not until last year.Falconfreak90 wrote:What about Ohio U, Marshall and Mich State???? Those cheaters wear green jerseys at home!!!!

Re: Boise blue
Colorado State, a member of Boise State's new conference, also wears a green that is very close to their field. BLASPHEMY!!!

I think it's the fact that it is unique to only them. They can practice on it whenever they want and for all I know they have blue practice turf. It definitely gives them a mental edge IMO. How much it matters and how many times it has influenced a game I have no idea. They win in blowout fashion so often that I would guess not many.
