You then compound that with never admitting in the slightest that someone else might be correct or that you might actually be in the wrong once in awhile.

You probably have a very legitimare concern but no one really cares to engage you on it because of your history here.
Sounds like a Cleveland Clowns fan to me.

I think what RWT is trying to say is if you quit acting like such a douche, people might actually talk to you insttead of simply insulting you.

Somebody wrote a letter that was in today's Sentinel Tribune:

"To the Editor: Falcon fan unhappy with Stroh Center seating

What the BGSU Athletic department is doing to women's and men's basketball fans ain't right!
If you ain't a Falcon Club member or at least donate $100 to become a Falcon Club member you might as well forget about having a seat close to the floor!
My family and I went to the new Stroh Center yesterday to reserve our seats for this upcoming basketball year and we got told that this section and that section were only available if you are a Falcon Club member, which I thought and I am sure that many other people thought it was ridiculous and not fair!
I mean don't get me wrong I am OK with my sixth or seventh row seat but it ain't right!
Last year at Anderson Arena my family and I and a friend of ours always sat in the first row directly across from the women's team and the same for the men's games and whenever the guys would come out when the game started my family and I would stand close to the sideline and slap hands with all the players when the would get ready to warm up and now at the new arena the seating is not close to the sideline and there is a bar in front of the seats!
I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way about the seating selection.

You know, his arguments make more sense when they don't include :finga: all over the place. However, I understand why they have Falcon Club seating the way they do. They are trying to reward the donors so they keep donating, all the while encouraging more donations. This is just the story of life: there is always somebody sitting in front of you that may not have, in your eyes, earned their seat.

I like your story of life with a little modification - Our Falcons "earn" playing time but we must "buy" our seat.

Sometimes buying includes a seat license, a long-term contract, a club membership or simply an expensive ticket. Some people need to realize that first come the donors who will be here for years followed by student who will be here 4-6 years before possibly becoming donors.

After those two groups everyone else is in row 7 and above. Try to get that deal at Gonzaga, Butler or a BCS program. My how we have been spoiled with our feet on the floor all these years at AA.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Lets get the students to show up and then you can complain about having to sit at the end of the arena. Until then.... [-X
Hey, as much as I agree that Dustin is inappropriate and is not helping the situation, I came to many games with other students, only to be told to sit down and be quiet whilst occupying the designated "student section". The students historically didn't turn out very well, so Athletics stopped enforcing seating assignments. Townies and families started sitting in the student section, and got angry at real students who showed up to support the team. We have felt pushed out and unwelcome in AA for the last several years. Dustin may be annoying and incoherent, but there are real issues underlying his complaints.

Plus, if students DO start turning out to the new arena in numbers, we will run out of room for them and the band VERY quickly. Not a problem in the last few years, but it's a real possibility that I don't think has been thought out carefully by Athletics.

Actually it has been thought out, thats why the section to either the left or right of the student section will be extra student seating if needed

Yeah, because I'm sure the Athletic Department will turn away all those paying ticketholders so that more freeloading students can see a game... C'mon, not even Ohio State charges for event parking! And you expect BG to give up on additional revenue? 23 years of experiencing the joys of University bureaucracy makes me cynical...
