Oh, and Dustin? Try spending a little less time alienating the fanbase and a little more time showing positive enthusiasm and encouragement. Then maybe the rest of us who WANT to stand won't be ashamed of standing next to you.

Actually it has been thought out, thats why the section to either the left or right of the student section will be extra student seating if needed
Yeah, because I'm sure the Athletic Department will turn away all those paying ticketholders so that more freeloading students can see a game... C'mon, not even Ohio State charges for event parking! And you expect BG to give up on additional revenue? 23 years of experiencing the joys of University bureaucracy makes me cynical...
Hey now I'm just repeating what I've heard, pretty sure I remember transfer mentioning it as well either in this forum or the men's basketball one

That you have right to express your opinion, just like we have every right to express what we think is wrong about your opinion or how you come across when expressing it.

And don't waste your time with the "I don't care what you all think" response, because its obvious you care about what we think, if you didn't you wouldn't respond back everytime

Ohio State would charge you for the air that you breathe inside their facilities if they thought they could get away with it.

I enjoyed reading the editorial where they argued about the $5 parking fee. We've charged $10 for premium parking for years.

Ohio State does not charge for parking for all their revenue sports. I haven't been to a football game there except for my trip with FMB, but there is no parking fee at the Schott for hockey, nor are there parking fees at any other CCHA school that I've visited except MSU. And no one else in the MAC charges for basketball that I've been to. Not even Butler, who is considerably more "big time" than us...

In this difficult economic climate, it's more important than ever to be able to fund the athletic programs in our university. Falcon Club helps do that through the donations that the members make. As a Falcon Club member, you can designate the sport you want to support. As much as I understand your frustration Dustin, this is the reality you face. Falcon Club donations help our teams be able to do the things they do, and as a long time Falcon Club member, I am thankful that we have this kind of booster club. $100 is not a lot of money, especially when it can be paid in multiple installments that most people can manage.

Just my $.02 fwiw.

GO FALCONS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

UT charges $5 per game for basketball parking. EMU pays you five dollars to park near the arena so it appears there is a crowd there.

I stand corrected, H20.... I'd forgotten that I had to pay to park in the garage up there last time I went. And in spite of the $5 EMU offers, they still can't get people to show up at games...

There it is.

Even though times are tough for many, we've been blessed to both be working with good paying jobs for some time. I upped my FC donation this year in case some folks couldn't do as much as they could in years past. I mean, for the price of a couple pizzas every two weeks, that can make a difference. The installment plan works very well for us. Get involved. Period.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!

there is no need to respond. Your mere existence annoys people.
