Season Ticket Pick Up

Post by FortWayneFalcon »

TGIF!
I'm thinking about coming to pick up my season tickets on the 18th. I'll be bringing the family.
We'll be heading to the Point the next morning. Anyone have any thoughts on the event or the Victory Inn across the street?
Worth it?

Good to hear from you Joe. At least two of my tribe will be in town for the tickets and scrimmage. Can't comment on the overnite accomodations though.

The Victory Inn is pretty much a dump but it's cheap. I've stayed there after late games a couple times. $50 or so...ya get what ya pay for but it works for me. LOL

I still can't believe I'm working this event into a family weekend getaway. I better not muck it up by going cheap. Thanks.

I think Mike is being TOO KIND to the Victory Inn.... stayed there once while on an alumni business trip and the room smelled of mold, was small, the pool was "non-operational" etc. Other than that, it was an OK place to stay.

This will be my first time attending this event (first-time season ticket holder). I live close, so hotel accommodations are not my specialty. But, my in-laws once stayed in the Falcon Plaza (Best Western) and had no problems at all. I also hear the Holiday Inn Express is very nice.

We've learned that the Hol.Inn Express is perhaps the nicest hotel in BG, when you take into account its overall facilities AND somewhat reasonable price. It's where we're booked for HC weekend, in conjunction with my class 50th reunion..... (Yeah, I know...most of you aren't even 50 yrs. old yet....so think about it...I GRADUATED from BG before you were born. [-o<
