I'm not positive on this, but I'm sure its been in black and white ever since they stopped producing an actual media guide and have just posted it onlineSidejudge wrote:The new 2011 Media Guide is now posted. Here is the link: http://bgsufalcons.com/sports/2010/8/9/ ... h=football

Re: 2011 Media Guide
Not to be overly critical, but CLEVELAND is misspelled when mentioning Steve Sanders.... and Freddie Barnes didn't POISE for a picture...at least I hope not... who did the proof reading? I found these in the few pages I looked at.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
Re: 2011 Media Guide
I appreciate the feedback on the media guide and we will make the changes and get fixes uploaded to the web. The NCAA does prohibit color in media guides (even in .pdf's online) so that is why it is black-and-white. The best thing about the not printing media guides anymore is the fact that we can easily make a correction and get it re-posted.
Thanks!

The picture on pages 6-7 should be a poster.

Jason,
-Tony Lucas (Defensive Quality Control) and Matt O'Connor (Special Teams Quality Control) are no longer with the program and no replacements are listed in the Media Guide. Are these coaching roles not going to be filled this year or have they just not been hired yet?
-Any chance of getting some of the photos that were taken during Media Day (team photo, coaches photos, position group photos, 2011 signees) into the document or represented somewhere to reflect the 2011 team?
-Will their be representation of folks that operate in a support capacity to the team (managers, secretary, etc.) in the guide?
-The camp updates are much appreciated. It would be great to hear some different voices/perspectives (i.e. position coaches, new first time starters) in addition to the more well known figures.
Thanks.

It's Cleveland so who cares?Class of 61 wrote:Not to be overly critical, but CLEVELAND is misspelled when mentioning Steve Sanders....
Now if it were Green, or Antwerp, or Hicksville then we definitely should be concerned!

I still miss the actual guide...nothing like having all the info in a book form. I'd gladly pay just about any price for one every year.

I care. Cleveland is a great city despite all the problems it may have. And the Cleveland area is home for a LOT of BGSU alums.transfer2BGSU wrote:It's Cleveland so who cares?Class of 61 wrote:Not to be overly critical, but CLEVELAND is misspelled when mentioning Steve Sanders....![]()

BG leads Temple, 7-4, in the all time series. Page 32-33 lists Temple as leading the series 7-4. Also, Gregg Brandon's overall record is listed at 38-24 on page 38-39 when he was 44-30 as HC. Just wanted to give ya notice on that.
Thanks!

That's a good point. Maybe the athletic department can offer up guides to those that have pre-ordered tickets. This way, there will only be enough made for those that want them, no extra. Plus, they could charge enough to make a small profit.
