Addazio couldn't run an offense with Tebow at the helm. He was more of a recruiter.1987alum wrote:I think Temple's going to be tougher than you expect. Golden brought in a lot of athletes during his time and his greatest weakness was his game day coaching. So if the new crew can keep the Owls motivated and improve the game day strategy, they should hold steady, if not improve some.

Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach PE.
Re: Clawson: "Never felt better" about Falcon Program
The bigger issue with Addazio was he couldn't get an offense full of nationally top recruits to play up to their potential. The schemes were for the most part good but he couldn't get the players to buy in to the system 100% or inspire them to give all of their effort on every single play. Those problems are why I feel he will not succeed as a head coach.

Upon further review it looks like BG just copied the format of Tim Beckman's site....

They probably used the same firm to design the site.
This is a good idea, but Beckman will always rule the self-promotion department. Trying to out-hype him is like trying to out-crazy Charlie Sheen.

Interesting stuff. HAckenberg from the Blade just wrote an article that said the opposite- can't get the guy to talk about himself. Must be some sort of reverse psychology. Or HAckenberg just doesn't know him like you do.JoeFalcon wrote:They probably used the same firm to design the site.

And his writing would never cater to UT fans or anything.

Nothing to gain either way for Hack. If Beckman was a shameless self-promoter he could write that in a lighthearted way and still put positive spin on it. And Hack certainly hasn't hesitated to rip UT coaches in the past. But then you DO know all that- just interesting that there are 2 dramatically different perspectives.kdog27 wrote:And his writing would never cater to UT fans or anything.
