EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

short version:
In today's issue of Bowling Green's Sentinel-Tribune, Jim Elsasser is quoted as saying that trenching is beginning this week. He also says light poles and fixtures have been ordered & that there's a 6-week lead time for those to be delivered. So mid-October is the new target date.

The paper also says that a student section has been added to the north end of Cochrane field, and that it can seat 150 - 200.
I didn't realize that, like at the Stroh Center, those pesky students were taking up so many good seats in the regular stands. Did I miss my chance to select three different sets of prime seating for Soccer season tickets, too? Dang! Now I'm not sure where to sit.

By the way, congratulations to the Men's Soccer team for their win over Michigan tonight!!!

And it's a good thing they installed that extra seating, since 2,100 people showed up for the home-opener vs. Michigan, including a large number of students, according to Coach Nichols.

Nothing up yet. The mount points seem to be curing for the moment.
