If for no other reason than it's a shorter drive for me to go to Huntsville than BG to see the Falcons play hockey, I'm signing this. Really though, I loved the support we got from outside sources when our program was in jeopardy and I believe it is important to return that favor.

I also jumped "onboard" and signed. FF, does UAH belong to league currently or are they independent? (Could make a difference)

Why is this school seen as the black sheep of college hockey...........they might not be in the situation they are in now if some league offered an invite. Recruiting would pickup for them as well as fans in their stands. With the summer of shifting conferences they not throw them a bone.........seriously the only college hockey program thats an independent and NOT by choice. The higher ups in College Hockey need to take a stand and tell a league to absorb them, I blame this on the big-wigs of college hockey for laying low and doing nothing. Shame on you for letting this happen to a program.

Thanks everyone! I hope a lot of others who read, but don't post on here, also sign the petition, too. I also hope that UAH gets an invite by one of the leagues. That team has a VERY, VERY strong following!! In 2010, when they played in the NCAA regionals at Ft. Wayne against the redskinhawks, there were a LOT of their fans at the game!!! I never expected to see THAT many fans considering the distance they were traveling. And just an fyi, any guess who I was rooting for? Head Coach and former Falcon Asst. Coach Danton Cole, of course!!! 
Which, of course brings me to another reason to support UAH, two head coaches with Falcon ties. Former Falcon player and Olympic player, Doug Ross was their coach from 1989-2007!
