Exactly. From what I hear (and most of you will probably agree but the loss of Pryor is addition by subtraction. My nephew tutored a number of players in Chemistry and he says the players he talk to are excited about the upcoming season and seem to have some additional enthusiasm that he thought was lacking in previous years.
Still waiting for you to close that parenthsis and complete what you hear!
I noticed that too.....

There you go.

I certainly hope you are right but I don't see them losing 5 games with that weak non conference schedule. They can beat half the teams in their conference with shear talent alone because the Big Ten lacks top 15 teams.
I would love to see them lose one of these early games and see things snowball from there though. I am OK with Toledo winning one game this year. That one.
Going through the schedule, I had OSU losing against Miami, Michigan State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Now I suppose they could beat Miami and Michigan, but I'd be shocked if they beat MSU, Wisc, or Neb.

Of course they are. With several starters gone they move up into positions where THEY can start getting free tattoos and stuff.

19 is a tough spread. I would imagine that there will lots of betting on OSU between now and Saturday. If the line were to rise to 21.5 or higher that would be enough for me to bet UT, but as it stands now its a do-not-touch game.

19 points? Take OSU....adversity is a funny thing, it can either draw you together or pull you apart. The impression I get from the OSU slappies I associate with is that they're a unified, angry bunch. Even with the suspensions, they have a marked edge in over the Rockettes in terms of depth and talent. I really can't see UT hanging with them...I don't think they'll lose to Miami or Michigan State either. Kinda torn on Michigan....

I would be absolutely stunned if Ohio State beat Michigan State but somehow lost to Michigan. MSU is the far superior team. I guess you could argue that homefield could cause that because they get MSU home and Michigan away, but I'm not really convinced.
Miami on the other hand, is a total toss up.

in my demented, addlepated opinion, MSU is a paper tiger...those choke jobs at Iowa and the bowl game are indicative of thier true colors.
Michigan has a real DC now who will have had 11 weeks to tune those kids up. UM will have the home field advantage and the most explosive palyer on the field. I think they can take OSU
