Capable, yes, but realistically? I think there is a bubble of highly unrealistic expectations. Mostly because we can actually see how this team can develop. But this team isn't about to win a title, or contend, unless the MAC is woefully worse than I expect it to be. I love my Falcons as much and more than most, but I dislike being unrealistic.

It's also especially disappointing to keep losing games like this at home. We've had one winning record mark at home in the last six years.

I could see beating any team on our schedule with the exception of WV and losing to any team as well. My guess is that we are fighting for about 7-5 and a bowl bid. We will have another game like this but blow out someone we would not expect to. Its really interesting to think how close that game was to a blow out for us.

I had us going 7-5 at the start of the season GT, but that included a 3-0 start, so we're a game behind the curve. We can get back on track with win in Oxford since I had us losing that one.

4-4 in MAC play is my best case scenario, with a 6-6 finish. The team is capable of winning any game but the consistencies of every facet of the game have to be there. Likewise, adversity needs to be met and overcome instead of wilting and letting things snowball.

This is a good team, they just need to learn what it takes to win.
