I don't give a crap what time Coach Clawson likes to kick off. The University needs to do what's best for attendance, and noon kickoffs hurt.
+1
Yeah, this.

This board has existed in one form or another since....2001? (thanks, Grant). Has there ever been a season where we didn't have issues with attendance? Even in 2003...when we drew upwards of 30,000 for NIU, the next home game against kent didn't draw 10,000 and it was a night game. We were unbeaten in 2002 and ranked nationally...people were starting to speculate about us as a BCS team and I'll bet we didn't draw much more than 20,000 for a parents weekend day game with Ball State when we had perfect football weather.

Attendance has always been an issue here..... numerous AD's have had a crack at that pinata and none of them have been successful. The same is true about the "game day experience". Concessions always suck...they run out of stuff and the quality is poor...the sound system is awful and the scoreboard is ancient. We joined the 1980's sometime in the mid 200's with the edition of our miniscule video board. It's like trying to watch a 20 inch TV at a bar..but there it is... I'm at the point where I just accept the limitations that come from following a University that tends to do things on the cheap and leave it at that
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I always believe in giving people a reason to go. Some people come to see the band play at half and then leave. University would be smart to schedule notable alumni to come back for each game to sign autographs, take pics, etc. I'm sure a guy like Orel Hershisher isn't doing much in the middle of November. Look at minor league baseball, how many people truly go to watch the game? Most show up for the type of event/entertainment they have going on that night. BG could get a clue from that, football alone isn't going to draw people in.

Therein lies the problem. A lot of BG fans, and NW Ohio residents in general, view BG (and for that matter UT), as minor league. ](*,)

I saw him at the WY game on the East side (watched the 3rd quarter there for a different view).
