Doyt Perry...one of the best human beings ever. Everything I've heard and read about him has been nothing but class. He knew how to treat people and bring out their best. College football could use a thousand Doyt Perrys these days. His record stacks up to anyone, anytime. One of BGSU's very finest...

Thanks for posting this. I actually remember reading it when it first appeared -- yes, I'm old -- but hadn't thought about it in a long time.

What a well-written reminder about my great good fortune in growing up in Bowling Green, Ohio, when Doyt Perry was football coach at BGSU.

Great story. Makes me wonder if we could get another great coach to stay here what this team could be.
