I also noticed no Penny in the clubhouse.

Another amazing performance by Fister.

Nice showing by the Indians tonight...losing 14-nil to the Tigers. Should have spotted Cleveland 2 TD's and a FG. LOL.

And Cabrera is now leading the AL (and majors) in hitting at .343. Gonzalez and Young back at .338. But yet he still gets nary a mention in the MVP talks. Sad.

Hell...he finished 4th in the MVP in 2009 and didn't even get selected to the all-star game. He is becoming what Albert Pujols was a few years ago...the most dangerous hitter in the game. He doesn't get near the pub he should.

Cabrera has virtually locked down the batting title...his fricking OBP is .447. With Weaver sitting tonight, Verlander wil win the ERA title and with it the "Triple Crown" for pitchers (wins, ERA and K's). If you had asked me at the start of the month I would have said Verlander should be MVP.....the way Miguel has closed ou the year...witht the batting title...I'd say Verlander is your CY Young and Miggy is the MVP

I was hoping the Tribe would at least finish 500. Oh well as it goes in Cleveland there is always next year.

What an unbelievable night of baseball we had!!!! The Redsox nation weeps as Papelbon blows his second save of the month...the Yankees blow a 7 run lead (and I don't think for a minute they did that to screw the Sox. Tampa has three elite SP's, no one wanted them in the playoffs). Atlanta choked as well. The Orioles were the spoilers...they knocked the Sox out and they beat Verlander last week...that cost the Tigers home field in round one. Although I think I'd rather play the Yankees than the Rays. The Yankees have a great line up and the back end of their bullpen is great...the starting pitching is mediocre compared to the Rays though....and great starting pitching is tough to overcome in a short series

I know it's already been mentioned on another thread, but the O's knocking off the Sawx....had a GREAT DEAL of help from Nolan Reimold...doubled in the tying run,and scored the winning run...against Papelbon no less!!! Way to go, Nolan!!! (funny thing that I've been thinking about for quite awhile....the Tribe needs a right handed hitter with some POP in his bat...be nice to have Reimold back in Ohio next year, though I doubt that the O's would be eager to give him up, as he seems to be really starting to come on.

Not sure. His BA was not all that great this year and I did see them take him out for defensive purposes against the Tigers late in a game last week.

Tigers up on the Yankees 2 games to 1 with game 4 tonight in Motown. Burnett for the Yanks and Porcello for the good guys....a suck vs. suck battle. Dawned in me yesterday that I doin't hate the Yankees...they play a really smart brand of baseball that you have to appreciate. The Red Sox have replaced the Yankees as team obnoxious....hate the fans, hate the players (Yooooookkkkk...f**k yooook and you)...hate it all

Absolutely. While I have no love for the Tigers, watching the Yankee fans see their world crumbling down was priceless. Good luck Detroit against Texas. Yankees... :finga:

Did you hear how silent it was in that massive stadium when A-Fraud was up in the 9th? It's like they knew he had no chance. Awesome!

Bad start for the ALCS. Delmon Young is officially out for Game 1. Danny Worth has replaced him on the roster. I believe Young can return at any point after Game 1 but that whoever he replaces cannot return at all the rest of the series.
