I agree! When I saw that, I was quite surprised! So....if we beat the Ridgebacks, what does that say about us? Or about the weasels? Can't wait!!!!

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT THE TEAM THAT BEAT THE WEASELS!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

OIT's goalie had 54 saves.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

7-4 final. Good to see some offensive output. And great to see the boys hold their composure. More than once I thought some gloves were about too be dropped, would've been bad in a game where nothing counts except disqualifications.

Final score was 7-4 Falcons! Goals went against Zacharias and Galley. None given up by Hammond.

About 3:20 or so, Bergeron walked out on the ice with a microphone and thanked the students for coming, said how appreciative he was of their support, and their "job is to go back and bring as many friends to our games this season as possible." He asked them to cheer loud and proud!

Bergeron also followed through on his promise and bought the Athletic Band brown jerseys to wear during games! It was awesome! :supz:

The band looked great with everyone wearing those jerseys!! So great to have the band there for the exhibition game....usually don't see them until football is over!!! I think I heard Coach B had something to do with that too!! :-D

Wow! Great job coach B with the motivation. Awesome win as well, especially since UofM couldn't pull it off against them.

Yes a very good win. Not to diminish from that in anyway, but Ontario did not bring the same caliber of game they did against UM. Clearly an unsustainable level of effort Ontario. The good news its a win. The team got establish successful game play. The bad news, it doesn't tell us where the team really stands. The games against UConn will be a better indicator, and those games have some real seasonal value. Not to mention U Conn just played a Ryerson team that is about on Par with Ontario, where U Conn won 7-4.

Nice job Falcon Icers!!! Did BG play a different goalie each period? If so, is that normal for exhibition games?
