Met a woman from Oregon yesterday. She and I talked about the beautiful Multnoma Falls outside Portland. (Yea, I probably butchered the spelling).

The Fall are really cool in a hyper-prolific, singer who sorta talks, post-Kinks sorta way. Plus without The Fall, where would The Smiths have turned for a band name?

Indeed it is. Now if only the leaves down here would start turning, I could enjoy it! Three days ago it still felt like what I think of as summer. Of course, when a cold front came through Friday night that brought the kind of fall weather I'm used to, folks down here ran for their jackets and talked about how it was "freezing."
