Schilz isn't physical? WHat the heck does that mean? How "physical" should a QB be? Or are we assuming the kid is soft because he's from Cali? One thing we need to consider here is how fair would it be to Hurley to throw him out there when the team is clearly not performing well? You want to get him some game action, but ideally you'll do that when he can learn something more than how to get drilled. I'd rrather take the time to work on the mental mistakes in game with my starter than throw the back up out there.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Most definitely not Shilz.

Defiantly agree...Schillz is still a young QB and needs to get as many reps as he can. Although it would have been nice to see Hurley in there too when the game was out of reach.Flipper wrote:Schilz isn't physical? WHat the heck does that mean? How "physical" should a QB be? Biggest thing I see with Schillz is that he gets "happy feet" in the pocket when he is uncomfortable. Although in the last two games the O-Line has exactly given him a whole lot of time...just needs to settle down and step up in the pocket more often
