Smart Phone question

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

My phone (Samsung Fascinate, 1 year old) has been acting very flakey lately. Battery life also isn't as good. Verizon person suggested a "factory reset" but I didn't want to lose all of my stuff! She backed up my contacts on the little card thingy, but I still didn't let her reset it yet. Do you lose EVERYTHING, including apps, notes, calendar stuff? Is there a way to save it all before you reset, then get it all back afterwards? I'm not that worried about the apps, as all of mine are free and I can easily download them again. Has anyone done a "factory reset" to their phone? Any advice would be appreciated.

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

FF: Download this to back up all of your data first: https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... ckup&hl=en

Then you can do a factory reset. If you've set up a Google account you'll be able to restore your contacts and such later.

If you can't figure it out or need some help just stop up to the pressbox before the hockey game or text me. I'll be at the IA around 5:45, 6.

Had a scary evening when I couldn't get my phone contacts and stuff back, but today my daughter figured it out for me and I have all of them back! YAY!!! Love these kids who were raised with technology!!
