BG's NHL/AHL/ECHL etc. thread

Post by jpfalcon09 »

Someone did this last year, all news regarding past Falcons now playing professional hockey can go in here. Nice to see Bylsma having the Pens off to a good start without Crosby.

I read somewhere quite recently that Solway and Svendsen are back together in Kalamazoo. Selanne deciding to go another year meant there was no room in Anaheim for Sexton. He got sent wherever it is that Ducklings go to wait.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

Todd McIlrath is in training camp with the Fort Wayne Komets. Fun story from one of the newspapers there.

Great article on Jordan Sigalet, who is the goalie coach for the Abbotsford Heat (AHL team):

Such an inspirational and amazing young man!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
