Homecoming Breakfast Tailgate
I will be bringing Bacon and Eggs again to cook up for whoever wants to partake. Marta, will you or your hubby be preparing pancake batter again? I will cook those too...I have no problem being the chef. And will your griddle be available again?
We are thinking about coming down on Friday night and crashing in a friend's hotel room so we will be ready to go by 8 a.m. Saturday. What are everyone elses plans???

Not likely for Joyce and me to be doing much tailgating on Sat..... it's my 50th class reunion and we'll be tied up in the morning at least at the union for a special brunch honoring the class. Will try to swing on by to say hi to everyone as time permits.
BG NEEEEEEDS this game badly.... after 2 weeks of pretty miserable efforts....and TU isn't going to be easy...

Re: Homecoming Breakfast Tailgate
I plan to be out there about 8ish myself. I'm going to park my car in the lot overnight so I know I can get a spot in the lot where Rick & Marta typically set up.
My plan is to bring my griddle set up (it's propane, not electric), and I plan to do pancakes as well. Also gonna get some bacon and sausage to cook up. I hate having to be up and out there so freaking early, but a good breakfast of pancakes and sausage and bacon and beer works for me.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

And/or be sure and stop by after the game. With the game so early, we'll be back out cooking up the non-breakfast foods and either celebrating a helluva win or drowning our sorrows!!musicman2343 wrote:When I get a break from Alumni Band I'll stop over!!!

Rumor has it there will be birthday cake at FF's site after the game. My brat is turning 10 and since she has already chosen BG as her school of choice as well as knowing the words to the fight song, ay-zig, and some of the Alma Mater, we are celebrating in BG this year.
Hopefully the logistics work out.

All the Freaks will be there by 9AM. We are staying in Huron the night before and, while I'd love to get there by 8AM, I know better. LOL. We'll bring the grill in case we need it and FF, try and save us a spot again!

Would love to stop by afterward, but I have to get back to Fostoria to play at church. I'll probably miss the last 15 minutes or so of the 4th quarter so hopefully we're winning by enough that I can leave at peaceFalcon Fanatic wrote:And/or be sure and stop by after the game. We are coming up Friday night and camping out with FF in the lot. Saturday will be an official duty day for me as I will be particpating in an on field presentation in between the 1st and 2nd quarter with Army ROTC. Will be off duty after the game for hopefully a celebration tailgate.

We'll be in town tomorrow. I have an advisory board meeting Friday afternoon (at the Stroh no less).
We'll be at the College of Technology tent prior to the game, but hoping to slide over to Marta and Rick's sometime... if not before, we should see you good folks after the game. (Maybe even Friday night - depending on what Nicholas and Sheila want to do).
