Once again poor half time adjustments UT's coaches went in and made adjust.. clawson said keep doing what were doing ... and u see the result.. and AGAIN short yardage is horrific... up the gut on 4th and 1 when UT out weighs you at every position... especially after you could run down their throats on 3rd

and I will say for certain Hurley we be your QB next year if not sooner

Playcalling never fails to piss me off
Re: No Score after the first...
Let's please keep it a 7 pt game. The spread is 9 points. Let me at least win my 1k. We run when we should pass. We pass when we should run. And we run up the middle when they expect it.
Darn it. There goes my bet.

Way to give up on a 3rd and 1 after a time out.

Re: No Score after the first...
This is the second time I've seen BG this year, and the horrific tackling and poor play calling continues. I don't understand having a 4th and 1 and starting the play 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage. And then continuing to run dead into the middle of the line when UT is stacking the box. Just stupid and unimaginative.
Two times BG was inside the 5 and failed to score. That's your game, right there. Perhaps Clawson should reconsider his offensive coordinator, because he's not doing the team any favors.
As for the continued poor tackling...I have no answer. It's been a BG "tradition" now for far too long. It's like everyone goes for the hit and they don't wrap up. UT runners broke out of tackles a lot today and, sadly, that seems to happen to BG a lot.

Based on what I'd seen this year from the defense, I had little faith that BG would stop Toledo on the 3rd and long.

The defense played well for two quarters then Toledo adjusted and said hey, 'maybe we should run the ball since they are stopping the pass.' We had trouble converting in the red zone and missed easy dump passes.
