Got into town Friday night around 9 and met some people at El Zarape for dinner. Had a good meal and split a pitcher of Pina Colada with the wife. Headed up to pay the bill and a group of guys were looking at the painting on the wall of all the bars in Bowling Green (which is pretty cool, I might say) and one guy notices that Sky Bar is kind of squeezed in on the one edge at the very bottom and says "It's almost like it was an afterthought" and I couldn't help myself.
My quote was something to the effect of "That's because it is an afterthought once you are done being a freshman."
Everyone laughs except for one guy. The next thing I heard was a guy behind me go "Hey, you're talking to the owner." I chuckled to myself, apologized and said I meant nothing by it and he, slightly offended, said "It's cool, I know where my money comes from."
Just funny to me that even the owner of the worst bar in Bowling Green knows it's the worst bar in Bowling Green.

Somebody help me, what was it called before Sky Bar? Stardust or something like that?
...can't believe it it still there. Remember going there a few times because I lived a stone throw from it when it changed to it's current name. And remember for every freshman there, there is a pervy old man buying them drinks.

My favorite place in town was "The Broken Boot".
Or the place on S. Main St. down by Napoleon (townie hang-out).
