Rick Pitino is talking up the Owls as a Big East team. He seems pretty serious too, having spoken to both the league and 'Nova about the situation. I still don't think that the BE wants the Owls for football, but they'd be a great hoops addition.

I think what's going to be really funny is when this 32-team Super Conference gets created, the schools realize it's not feasible in any sense and then split into two 16-team conferences which is what should have been done in the first place.
