Pat Forde's BG Jab

Post by jpfalcon09 »

From Pat Frode's "Forde yard Dash" on Yahoo Sports, the section entitled September champs, October chumps:}

Bowling Green’s offense (33). In four September games, the Falcons scored 154 points. In five October games, they scored 80. That’s how you go from 3-1 to 4-4.

Couldn't agree more. Averaging 16 points a game in October is pretty pathetic.

That's actually how you go to 4-5, but who's counting.

What are we suppose to be on Offense? I have not seen any rhythm when we have the ball. And why cant we move the ball on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1? All I see are turnovers and inconsistent play. What is our IDENTITY!?!
I hate toledo

Why is that a jab?

And you do realize we played our four toughest opponents so far in October don't you? And still managed to beat one of them.

There is no jab in the truth.

And some of them were pretty good football teams...or do you just blindly assume that all teams in the MAC are equal because it's just the MAC?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Problem with facts? Temple, Toledo and Western Michigan are better than us, period. Sorry.

s**t, I'm glad Bowling Green football is still relevant enough to be discussed in such a setting.
