Season starts this Friday, are you going to be there?

Post by BGSU33 »

Our season opener, home opener and Stroh opener all rolled into one! I hope we pack the place and get a little payback for the bad loss to Howard last year (they only won 5 games the rest of the season after beating us). I picked up a mini season ticket package again this year and this is one of the games I took. Hope everyone on here can make it too. Let's start the season off with a win and officially open the doors on the Stroh with a victory. GO BG!!!

Would love to be there but I can only afford one trip to BG a week...plus Dover is playing Minerva in the HS football playoffs. I plan on getting up to the Stroh a few times this winter, though.

I'm going to make the drive over from Cleveland. Does anyone know expected crowd as of today? Am I going to be able to get tickets that night?

Also, although the attendance has been smaller, no one has commented on how loud the crowd seemed in the first few events. Curious to see differences in crowd noise v Anderson Arena

I will be there in my excellent seats. My wife is making me bring her. Unfortunately, I will now have to spend the entire game explaining why they keep throwing that poor orange ball at the glass pane. But, in the end, I can point out to her that the dance team is really, really cold.

I made the decision to make the tirp to attend the "Final" Game at Anderson Arena with the mindset that there would only be one final game and that the Stroh Center would be new for sometime. As it turned out there was a second "final" game but I did get to share some time in the Detroit airport with one of Harold Anderson's daughters while waiting for my flight home.

I hope to get to a game in the Stroh Center this season or next; but would gladly fly anywhere the Falcons might be taking the court in NCAA Tournament action.

I haven't made it to a bb game in a few years, but I think I might be available for this one.

There is a link to watch the game on bgsufalcons.com. If I recall correctly, the service hasn't always worked so well in the past. I might give it a try tonight, assuming the cost is reasonable.
