I talked with the ticket office this afternoon. They said the tickets were mailed on thursday. They apologized for the problem. They said if your tickets don't arrive by Tuesday, call the ticket office and they will print your exhibition game tickets again and have them for you at the office. They also said that if you had paid for a parking pass they would give your name to the attendant and you would be able to park for free.

I can't confirm that, but I can confirm that ours came in the mail today and that a friend's tickets came Saturday. And, having expressed my opinion about the ticket situation elsewhere, I'll leave it at that.

I'm ready to cheer on the team.

Certainly proved to be the case last year- my favorite womens' game of the year was at BGSU! As for Mr. Dustbin, well, Toledo ushers are very nice, gracious folks but they do have their limits. They have a low tolerance for foulmouthed youngsters. And to answer colin's questions- "I want Toledo apparel, and in terms of getting what you pay for, last year Toledo fans paid for a MAC record single game attendance of 7,001, a WNIT Championship, a road win over their biggest rival, a couple All-MAC players, the incredibly exciting Naama Shafir who is one of the nicest people I have ever met, an engaging coach who has really turned the program around, a beautiful arena, loads of parking nearby, a MAC Championship and an exciting style of basketball. The concessions? Ehhh-".

BG has consistently put out a top notch program for women's bb and is still the program to aspire to for most MAC teams. I'd say season ticket prices to see that program are probably a bargain for BG fans. I know I'm looking forward to seeing some games in Stroh- looks like its a pretty nice place-your AD has done a marvelous job upgrading the facilities and. as factman notes, putting what factman believes to be a superior athletic program on display for BG fans. Good luck this year!

Oh, sheesh, I'm teasing. I know Toledo has a great program and an exciting style of basketball. And I'm happy for that, and for their WNIT wins, because it brings up the MAC and keeps women's basketball on the rise in Northwest Ohio. Exciting conference programs bring in exciting competitions and better talent. I'm looking forward to Toledo's competition this year. I think Naama will have a run at P-O-T-Y. I may even admit that I now attend that school as a grad student. But it doesn't mean I'll ever want a voucher for free blue and gold gear :)

Thanks for the response about tickets - if they're not in the mailbox today, I'll call. That's very helpful.

Good luck Rockets on the season. And good luck Falcons tonight!

Good to see you've moved toward the light! ;-) Sadly, there have been far too few sports where BG and Toledo have both been near the top of the league at the same time. Football occasionally, but women's basketball may be the sport that creates the most rivalry excitement. Tough to beat the atmosphere at a packed Savage or Anderson when those teams play!

Don't you dare get us any bench technicals. Best be on best behavior or you may be calling Coach Miller names too after he has you removed.

Somehow I don't think Dustin is in the minority with regard to this take.
