Coach Dakich is scheduled to visit my home in March. It is my understanding that he is in the market for a 40 year old, fat, slow, balding, 5'8" white guy with no basketball skills. He tells me he is looking for a project and I fit the bill. However, I am still waiting for calls from Coach K. and Bobby Knight before I make my decision. With four years of eligibility left, I am leaning towards BG because my family will be able to come and watch me pass out on the floor from running out of the tunnel at the start of a game and because Mr. Spots is in safe walking distance from campus. Coach Dakich says he sees me a the guy who comes off the bench to commit fouls late in the game because opposing players will run into my huge stomach that will easily look like a blocking foul.

I look forward to my four years again at BG. If I hear of others who will be joining me on the squad, I will post that information here.

If you must know, that would be a svelt 245. No need for me to hit the weight room, either.

I'm 6'-5" and around 290lbs. Ben Reed would bounce off of me like Sonic the Hedgehog.

I call dibs on playing center so I won't have to run as much.

Now, remember, after I am recruited, Coach Dakich is going to run a slow down offense where we only take on shot every 35 seconds, so nobody will be running or moving fast at all. No fast breaks. Plus, lots of injury time outs.

Here is a blurb about Sullivan and his team from the Det Free Press:

Class C: Detroit DePorres' wait between state championships may last only a year.

"We've got a lot of improvement to do," said coach Durand Shepherd. "But we had some big wins in the Christmas tournament. We beat Crockett and Saginaw Arthur Hill to show we're headed in the right direction."

Lionel Sullivan is one of the top players in the state, but he hasn't needed to be a one-man show. Durrell Summers, Chris Baugh and David Grimes have all had their moments.

"The chemistry is good," Shepherd said. "They're sacrificing numbers to get guys better shots. We've had three or four guys in double figures all season."
