I remember just several years ago when we could score 21 points in a quarter, and now we haven't scored that many point in a game over in a month and a half.....

Our decline this season (and really the past two years) is directly traceable to lack of offensive production and lack of scoring.

I know that special teams and defense are sometimes the object of our frustrations, but for the most part I expect poor defense and special teams from BGSU football. I DON'T expect poor offense, and that's what's killing us. Offensive coordinator Ruggiero should be DOA at this point, and if this doesn't improve next year, so should head coach Clawson.

Those Josh Harris and Omar Jacobs-led offenses seem like teams from 20 years ago anymore....

I'm not sure I agree with that. Those Tyler Sheehan/Freddie Barnes teams could light it up as well. Arguably they weren't as loaded as the Omar Jacobs/Charles Sharon/Steve Sanders/PJ Pope teams preceeding them, but it's really only the last 2 seasons where we've stunk offensively, and not surprisingly that's when the team went from a 6-8 win team to a 2-4 win team.
