Spencer Parker, a 6-foot-7 forward from West Bloomfield, Mich., will play at Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, Va. this year. A year ago, he played at West Bloomfield High School and averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds per game, while blocking 1.7 shots

Richaun Holmes blocked a school-record 150 shots a year after setting the record with 127 as a junior. This year, he is averaging 16.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.5 blocked shots through the first two games of the season and he posted a triple-double in his first game with Moraine, totaling 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 blocks.

Both sound like solid athletes who will only help this program get better. Parker sounds like a nice all around player and Holmes has that defensive presence.

Agreed! We need a guy who can create his own shot, make a shot, and score. It's been a glaring need for several years and looks like it might be the case yet again this season.

There is an entire thread about this in the recruiting section but because more people come in here I will throw this info here. Rivals lists us as interested in this kid....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XLiV2zVB2s...who looks like a great shooter based off numbers. Does not appear to be a great athlete though and a little undersized, but for a pure shooter 41% from three works for me. Coaches son as well.
