Can't really say that's surprising...sub-.500 team just playing out the string, a weekday night, and although it isn't THAT cold, you just know that people like to b!tch as soon as the thermometer drops below, I dunno, 56?

I don't think so. Then again I am laying on my couch watching the game in HD with 2 unused tickets in my glovebox and I can see the lights of the Doyt from my backyard.

This season has sapped me of all joy this program used to give me. The product has largely sucked, the gametimes have sucked, and I just don't see the point to pay the $10 to park when I can sit on my ass in the warmth and see the game just as well. If we were competitive I'd be out there. If the game were on a Saturday afternoon, I'd be out there. But just don't feel like it anymore.
1.I can see the lights of the Doyt from my backyard

~ Well that certainly makes me feel better about my fandom

2.The product has largely sucked

~ 4-6 overall, 3-6 against I-A teams, 2-4 in the MAC. Yup, can't argue with that.

3.The gametimes have sucked

~ THIS! Two noon starts and two weekday night games = yuck. Only two games at either 4pm or 7pm, which I consider to be prime starting times. Our attendance this year was no doubt hurt by the poor starting times.

4.Paying $10 to park

Well, I usually park off campus or in the middle of campus near AA so I don't have to worry about that. Still, I can see where that would be a buzzkill.

Gosh we haven't even mentioned concessions yet...

In spite of all this BG is out to a good start here tonight.

Yep defiantly a shame. Looks like the students especially have very weak attendance

Opportunistic defense?

Almost an incredible catch by Jordan. Hopefully he's alright after that hit and hard landing.

Yeah, I'm definitely not a great BG fan anymore, but I really don't care. Football has stopped being fun for me, and I really think a STRONG case could be made to get rid of it. I still love the game, but the quality of the MAC product has gone to s**t and even when they play on Saturdays there are no less than 30 games going on that would be more entertaining than MAC football nowadays.

The only reason I ended up getting season tickets this year was for the tailgating, and even then we only had 2 really good tailgating game times anyhow. I think I'm pretty much done with season tickets now. Rather spend my dollars at the Stroh Center.

Will we see any man and/or press coverage tonight? It looks doubtful at this point.

Wow, so you weren't being facetious when you said that we should cut football and drop hockey to club level to prevent the amount of time conflicts with basketball. I thought that post was a joke.

7-3 Bowling Green leading late in the first quarter. Ohio's turned the ball over twice already.

EDIT: Not sure what Schilz is looking at on many of these passes, he should've been picked twice already.

Meanwhile, what's wrong with Schmeidebusch? He's already shanked two punts.

Pretty clear that Ohio showed up not ready to play so far in this game. 3 fumbles (2 lost) and 2 dropped INT's

Have to capitalize on these mistakes before Ohio wakes up

Pretty ugly game so far. Very few well executed plays. We have to take advantage of OU's slow start.

+1 - Impressive drive on offense. Boy, Schillz can make some great throws when he is comfortable in the pocket :D
