Clawson needs to go after that. That was Brandon-esque.

This one isn't on Schilz...the OL or anyone but the defense. You let them run up and down the field like that? Inexcusable...you fu**ing have to be tougher than that.

Can't wait to hear Clausen's logic behind this one.
"Yeah, I called her up. She gave me a bunch of crap about not listening to her enough or somethin. I don't know, I wasn't paying attention."

Chi-Town here I come...

I think its all about Momentum in terms of coaching, and if there is a viable option out there, which I am sure there is, I think clawson has too many issues to hold on to.

As I said...when they got it at the 15 we had no business tackling their QB...you let him walk into the endzone so you get the ball back. Might be a different story if they had our kicking woes, but with their kicker it was obvious they were going to run down the clock and kick the go ahead FG with no time on the clock.

Still...you have GOT to use your timeouts to at least force them to kick the ball back to you...we do have Boo Boo Gates afterall. Just ridiculous time management at the end.

Typical heartbreaking finish. I'm glad I stayed home.

Stop it...stop it now. Clawson isn't going anywhere. He's here next year, get used to it

No chance he gets fired, but I'm done defending him at this point. I like the talent he's brought in here, but the game day coaching is atrocious.

Typical. Sick of watching dumb penalties, dumb playcalling, piss poor clock management and teams not get better.

OK, quick game thoughts ...
Defense was up and down. They picked the wrong time to be down.
BG made Ohio earn this win.
Offense looked more alive than they have in a long, long time.
That sack on our last drive was the deciding factor.
Erique Geiger is going to be a good one, no doubt.
Kamar Jorden is legit.
Matt Schilz played very well in the second half. Very, very well.
Defense wrapped poorly on that last drive.
I liked the call to not use timeouts until we did. We had them at 3rd and 1.5. Stop them there, call a timeout, then if they hit the FG, we have one timeout and a minute and some change to score. Seeing as they'd given up a sack on the last drive, you really need a timeout on offense. But since we didn't stop them on 3rd down ... well ...
Refs royally screwed us over. I hate blaming the refs because they do have to deal with a lot. However, on that fourth down where we were flagged for offsides, that OU O lineman moved. Had that moved to a 4th and 6, no doubt the complexion of this game would have been totally different.
So far the team has turned it around two games from last year. This one felt like Miami last year ... lost on a last second field goal after the refs screwed us. This one hurts.
Win next week at UB and it's a 3 game turnaround from last year. That's not bad.
MarkL has spoken.

Call your effing time outs. Don't worry about icing the kicker who has made more field goals this year than any other kicker in division 1 football. And more than likely he definitely isn't going to miss a field goal of 25 yards or less. At least give boo boo a chance for a return like he did against Toledo. Another bad coaching decision.

These one score losses are more than youth and inexperience, its poor coaching. How many games have we seen like this?

The TO's wouldn't have mattered...we didn't tackle worth s**t any way. Should have let them score....makes as much sense as anything else this year
