The false start 5 yard penalty would have been nice on the 4thfourth and short rplay. . .

Falcon137 ... there were two penalties on BG. One of them was BS on the ref's part.
Dumb playcalling ... where? Well called game IMO. Offense scored 28. Defensively couldn't stop a running QB and that is nothing new to anyone who watches BG football.
See my comment on clock management.

After this game, I'm officially done with Dave Clawson. The way I see it, he needs to put together a 9-3 or 10-2 season next year and a MAC Championship to keep his job.

6 wins in 2 seasons. That's unacceptable. Period.

I blame the MAC...more than Brandon. We should have played Akron tonight...I think we could beat Akron...maybe
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Honestly did anyone really see that 4th quarter going any different? Score a td, brutal kick off, quick td, can't move the ball, make another dumb penalty, let them go down to the five, and lose on a chip shot.
Same old story....Jorden is really good though. Too bad he doesn't have some eligibility left.

On a brighter side I made 2k on the game. My friend out in vegas took the spread and the under and I hit both.

Calling timeouts would have prevented nothing. It would have taken a few extra plays to run the clock down and kick the winning field goal.

My comments aren't about 1 game. They are about the past 3 seasons.

I think they missed a hold on Cooper returning the interception down the BG sideline at the end of the first half as well.

So 8-4 and a MAC Championship should get him fired?

This team just hasn't learned how to finish games. I hope they figure it out next year. Clawson needs to get some fire back into this team before he loses them completely. We've got talent, we need to learn how to use it. My biggest issue all year has been the lack of energy, from start to finish.

I know we are all concentrating on the last drive and not using our timeouts, but if we don't turn the ball over we win the game. we always see the last drive of the game in use that as an example but the game was lost well before then.
