With the talent we have on campus in the communications amd music departments, I've long thought we should see more of this kind of promotional material...
This Madhouse production company they've latched on with does some top notch work. Combined with some of the print materials (and giant wall-sized schedule murals), the promotional effort of our athletic department has been tremendous. Outstanding quality.
Yeah, this video was all Madhouse as far as production goes... lots of former VCT students work there. They do great work.

It's sad that we can't do this in house, but we probably should be able to...

Finally watched it for the first time this morning before I came to work. Absolutely loved it and thought it was great. Yes, there is some corny stuff in there but what are you supposed to do? I love that they figured out what percentage of "Schmidthorst" is consonants.

Football 51:
This was never intended as a promotional video. It was made to open the Stroh center dedication ceremony. A little homage if you will to how the Stroh Center came to be there. Instead of thanking people by "speechifying" they made that.
The hateful things that people are saying in YouTube comments are astounding to me. ....rather have a pedophile represent BG than that? Geeez ](*,)

The only thing worse is my dad's dribbling skills, which have deteriorated mightily in the 60 years since he played for the " cardigan sweater." Brilliant rhyming by the way, and fabulous job by the creators and the young man rapping. And the young lady singing. though I think he rocked the shades pretty well! :D

I want a shirt that says, " Where my Falcons at? " on one side and the Stroh center logo on the back with " Let's Go!" Corny, I know.... But a great reminder of a wonderful day.

Welcome back! You've been missing for far too long. And fwiw, stupid comments from anonymous people who comment on YouTube hold zero credibility. That video was just a hoot! Absolutely LOVED it!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

The video was GREAT......needed to watch the posts containing it several times...at the dedication ceremony, I laughed so much I missed parts of it

can't get it to download on my phone......guess I need a new phone

waiting to see what else is in store at the Stroh Center 8-)

I guess the big reason I didn't like it is because I absolutely hate rap. To me, it's not music. Just my own opinion there. And then singing "Roll Along" just sounded terrible. Like I said, my opinion. This is not my music style at all, and I would much prefer essentially any other music style.

I am not fond of the Colin Cowherd show on ESPN radio but he made a mention of the Stroh Center rap video on his show. He said the video is the second most watched video since its been posted in its website on Friday. Pretty cool. Now if we can just have the basketball team give something positive for ESPN.

Corny? I dont think you know the definitionof corny. That was in no way corny. It was completely hip and witty. Self depricating for some parts which make it that much more humorous. These economically succesful men also have great senses of humor.

Corny is when you watch something and feel transberrassed for the person doing it...you don't end up thinking positive things about it....No way is that corny.

This is corny....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ppisOulgG0

Very nice for ESPN to showcase the Stroh Center and the rap video during the BG - OU game tonight. Nice interview with Roscoe too.

It wasn't that great. Roscoe seemed way too star struck, which was understandable, but he was very nice and humble.
