For a guy that was just a kid on campus two months ago and is now pretty much the face of the athletic program, I thought he did a pretty good job. Though I wondered when one of the old white guys announcing the game were going to ask him what exactly a "shout out" meant.

Rachel, the girl from the video, sang the anthem at the women's game and should sing the anthem at any event it's necessary at BGSU. Holy crap what a voice! Didn't even mind the extra inflections that usually drive me nuts with anthems. Even several Purdue players' jaws dropped when she hit a few notes.

I thought he did a great job too!!! It was refreshing to see a such sweet kid who wasn't like so many self-entitled youth we see these days. He's a GREAT face for BGSU!!!! :supz:

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yeah...I thought it was great that he was a little nervous and didn't try to "big time" it...kid's real.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

This a great way to promote one aspect of our campus - bring students in to perform the athem.

The band, dance team, cheerleaders and vocalist are great examples of our university students beyond the athletic department. The athletic department needs to understand this is one of the strengths of our campus. Use it. Playing 80's songs on a nice sound system is not as impressive as a great pep band playing great music from any era.

And if students can make videos for the Stroh - use them. It will work to get more students and their parents to games while putting a spotlight on the university.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Let me be clear, the problems I had with the interview were the ones asking the questions, not Roscoe.

Agree, I thought their questioning was pretty lame. Thought Roscoe handled it well though!
