Can't wait for these games! We need to SWEEEEEEP these guys!!!

GO BG!!
BEAT THE NANOOOOOOKS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Not a big fan of the whole games on Turkey day weekend idea, but its on the schedule so lets get a "W." Coach B seems to think highly of UA, they sound kind of like us in that they play hard and are just a few plays a way from improving their record dramatically. This should be a pretty interesting series I wish I was there for it. Hopefully we can get some points and climb out of last.

Go Falcon Hockey!!!

Thinking about trying to talk the wife into a trip on Saturday...I don't think we have anything planned and I need some Falcon hockey in my life.

Don't expect much scoring...both teams struggle offensively.

"So I was proud of them for the fact that they kept fighting back tonight. We made mistakes, but we'll take mistakes out of hard work or out of being young, but not out of not being willing to compete."

3-0 loss. Terrible 1st period and a terrible crowd. Maybe the team ate too much turkey yesterday.....

not a good effort tonight.

The last place team comes into town 700 miles away and we give them the effort they were hoping for, just enough not to get blown away.

Consistantancy. Up one game down the next.

Anything higher then a double digit finish in the CCHA will be good for this year. Here's hoping for a 9th place year.

We will not win games by tieing the puck up along the boards in our own end. It hasn't worked yet. Please stop doing it. When we opened the game up in the 2nd and 3rd periods we actually played like a team that wanted to play hockey.

And Bierkle's hit was clean, and legal. Guy had the puck and the hit was to the shoulder.

Went to the game last night, thought BG came out unprepared to play and were dominated in the 1st, could've been worse but Hammond played a strong game. What I've noticed about BG is that they lack the overall team speed to create opportunities off the rush, they have to dump, muck and grind for their chances and its tough to win hockey games playing like that. The PP needs a lot of work too, many players aren't moving to create space and puck movement is too slow and deliberate, there are still many aspects of the game that the coaching staff needs to work on with this team.
