One good thing about all the Meyer coverage on ESPN....BG is getting a lot of mention.

Now lets hope that they get nailed by the NCAA and he is stuck with a team that can't go to a bowl game for 2 years.

I liked listening to the OSU beat writers welcoming Urban "home." I couldn't get through the entire interview but I have a feeling Columbus won't be his final stop. It also sounded like his family was entirely thrilled with his decision.

Apparently Kasich is an OSU alum, which makes a little more sense for him to tweet that, but still, gushing over any school paying a football coach four million-plus a year while your state's education system bleeds cash is insane.

And I don't even want to get into the media reaction... especially the gaggle of blogger-types.

I'm waiting for Florida's. A coach "retires" with years still left on his contract. Now that he's officially coaching, this could get really interesting.

Good point. Is he still getting paid by Florida?

Nice to see the blade's Matt Markey elicit a shoutout from Meyer to Josh Harris...who apparently was in the room as well...

And Matt Markey of The Blade asked Urban about Josh Harris. Apparently J5 was at the press conference.

Except "home" for Meyer should be Cincinnati if I'm not mistaken. If every place he coached is "home" he's got a lot of homes- my "collegiate home" is where I attended.
