BG VS Oklahoma

Post by tiznow »

Found this on Youtube. Apears to be the full game. Omar Jacobs and Adrian Peterson's first college game.

It was a joy to watch P.J., Cole, Steve and Chuck do their thing every Saturday...we were certainly spoiled from 2003-2005.

I've got a clip from that game of, I believe, Mitchell Crossley clearly punching Adrian Peterson square in the nuts.

I'll see if I can post it later...

Who will step up and be the 2012 BGSU Falcon's nut-puncher?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Peterson didn't start that game but I doubt he had that problem again.

That first TD pass to Sharon was sweet. I remember I drove 3 hours just to be in the regional area to watch this game.

It certainly brought back memories of how much talent we had at that time.... and it was REALLY nice to have names on backs of jersies, that helped keep track of who was on the field etc. It's something I 've really missed the past couple of years. :-k

Went to a friends and stayed the night. Seems crazy now with it being so easy to watch games with the internet.

I loved watching it and hearing the announcers comment on how the "Big However-Many-Teams-They-Had-in-2004" was experimenting with instant replay that year. Now it's commonplace in college football.

Also, Suisham's 47yd FG was pretty awesome. Hope we can start getting some of those long FGs back in our repertoire. Side note: I had to chuckle when the wind speed indicator ABC put up said "0 MPH."
