Thanks for posting that! It was a great read. I hope Erin comes back for many more games!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Great job by Erin, and I know exactly how she felt. I joined the Navy immediately after high school, and my girlfriend (later wife) was at BG and wrote to me about attending hockey games ... "you've got to see this when you get home." She was so right. At my first game I remember thinking "Holy crap, this is awesome!" That feeling hasn't changed in over 40 years. The first impression is so important.

I had the same impression too. I had never been to a hockey game until college. My high school started a hockey team my sophomore year, but I never went to a game. That first hockey game playing in athletic band was all I needed to be hooked.

Somebody tell me that made the print version of the paper. Very well done. I'd love to see the Sentinel pick it up and run it as well.

That was a very good article! That weekend was amazing! And to think how close we were to 5 of 6 points is a huge shot in the arm! I obviously wasn't around for them, but I have no doubt that the "good ole days" will be back soon with Bergeron at the helm.
