Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.
Just looking at some scenarios that should be pretty interesting. Things I had not thought about before with conference championships.
The Clemson v Va Tech Conference champ should be pretty sweet
Con USA championship between Houston and Southern Miss should be good
The Big Ten Championship should be a snoozer.
The Pac 12 might just see Oregon v Someone awful from the south like UCLA. That team might not even have a winning record. Really bad first championship game. I bet they wish USC could play.
I did not realize all three of the top SEC teams LSU, Arkansas and Alabama were in the West. Will be interesting to see what happens if Arkansas beats LSU and all are 11-1 with only losses to eachother. Then what if whomever wins that tie breaker loses in the championship game to Ga or SC?
This is based off my ratings. I will add some others based on other rankings...sagarin, colley ap. Rules are the same though, all 11 conference champs make it and seeding is based off overall ranking.

VT got blownout by Clemson twice and didn't beat anybody. I know it all about money and fanbases but KSU and Boise deserved those spots way more.
I completely agree. Boise and KSU earned those spots. Between that, and having an all-SEC national championship game, perhaps there will be enough irritated people to call for a playoff system rather than this joke we have going on.
I thought they were listed as a first round by for the Crimson Tide. Not unlike the NCAA Basketball Tourney, were the conference champion earns a seed 12-16, and the 7 at-large bids from the ACC get seeded 2-7.
