I support GC and ALLLLLLL his policies (because I really don't care what he does) but on Wednesday night when they tee it up, toss it up or drop it I don't attend. Doesn't hurt basketball and hockey like it does football. ESPN, not GC, IMO is what kills attendance.

Football games are attended by cheerleading, dance team and band parents, families and friends. They can spend Saturday in BG but are they really going to come on Wednesday night. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Flag football teams, HS bands, church groups, etc. are not coming on Wednesday.

That makes the 4 games on Saturday, rain or shine, so very important. We need an average of 20,000 for the 4 to make up for the 2 weeknight crowds of 5,000. I just can't see how BG can average 15,000 this way. GC or any other AD will struggle mighty hard to succeed with this formula although we could always improve.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

p.s. They are GOOD seats too! ;)
I'm sure you're perfectly nice people, I just don't like your policies. ;-)

Really though, I think if people look at my location underneath the avatar there, it'll become pretty apparent the real reason I am not at games. Though I do see how some of these weekday games can really hurt on people coming out. What always helps is consistent winning though. The better the product we give to people, the more they're going to want to come out no matter when the game is. Of course, there is the theory that if we get more exposure, it will lead to better recruits, and thus more wins, plus if ESPN pays us some amount for those games (no idea of an amount, if any) there's also the thought that said money can lead to better facilities (or at least maintenance of what we have) to also attract better recruits.

Granted, I don't think any of this is actually panning out, but that is probably the prevailing thought.

Only because the department buys their own tickets. That's your Falcon Club dollars going to work.

And because Drago and Factman's 10 friends don't go to the games because of Christopher. Jesus, it's getting old listening to you piss and moan and turn everything back to your hate of Christopher.
