And again, we seem to be loading up with linemen....either OL or DL....surprised we haven't heard anything about a JC transfer or two, probably WR's, yet.
Then again, we don't have many scholarships to give out this year, when you think of how many Fr and So., true or RS, are on this team right now.

Mik is a very good looking athlete. Has the potential to be a top contributor down the road. Big frame and strong. Definitely thinking ahead for academics. These are the type of student-athletes you must get to beat NIU etc. Getting this Chicago player certainly is a win for us.

Without giving away any "secrets", do we have MORE than the 12 verbals I've seen listed on the recruiting sites? I know we won't be able to sign too many more due to the youth of our current team, with 80 or so Fr and So, true and RS.
Just curious.

I think we are in very good shape w our recruiting. As you mention, we only have x number of grants so the class isn't going to be real large. We'll add some good players to the lists you reference.

We have 12 verbals..ESPN is tracking 9 of them enough to give them a rating. Of those none, five are at ***. And Scout or Rivals lists a couple of kids ESPN isn't as high on as ***. So, of the 12 verbals we have, at least one of the three main sites lists 7 of them as a *** recruit. That's a better ratio than I ever recall us having before...
