Of which he really won't care, since by the time the NCAA catches up to them, he'll have his millions of dollars, his ego boost, probably a national championship or two, will have beaten Michigan, then will play the noble soldier who rides off on his white horse to save his family, leaving an underqualified assistant to take over and get reamed by the adoring masses before calling him noble and amazing when the next savior arrives on the sidelines.
I am not convinced he is going bring home any national championships there like all the OSU fans like to think. Unless Saban and Miles go somewhere he is not going to steal any talent from them. He might be able to get a player or two that might have went to South Carolina, Florida, Arkansas or Georgia. Like the conference or not the SEC shows no sign of going anywhere. On paper LSU should be better next year.
He may win some Big Ten titles but I don't think he will win them as frequently as Tressel did. And how long until his health or whatever the problem actually was becomes an issue again

The big time athletics train churns along.....
Well that was pretty disppointing....thought there was at least one big school coach who was doing it right....
This is why I love hockey. Pound the crap out of each other on the ice, shake hands and catch up on old times after the game. There is no crying. No "public apologies" for letting your emotions out during the game. Heck, even players who fight off the ice (Kevin Lune) stand and watch the rest of the game with the player they fought.

Agree! Made me laugh out loud when I read it! Well done, TG!

Thing is, no matter how much OSU fans like to whine that no one them or gives them credit, they've shown several times that if they win their games, they're going to get a shot at a championship. Win the three tough Big Ten games and maybe the occasional OOC toughie and they'll get their shot. After that, it's all about the coach and the superstar athletes he's brought/bought to the program.
Was, however, refreshed to hear a die-hard OSU fan (and graduate) friend of mine tell me he hated the hire, simply because of the way Urbie dashed out of BG.
