One of the Marines featured in an NPR story is a Bowling Green resident and student at BGSU. He believes he may have PTSD but since he has no insurance, he is getting no treatment. "Alcohol helps," he said.

Having a son who went to war in Iraq, I can sympathize with these guys...fortunately, my son came home in one piece, but seldom talks about what went on there. He DID talk at first, but as he's adjusted to "civilian" life, though holding down an important position in Washington, he says little about the war experience. The changes in him were very noticeable, in this case for the better.
