Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan and Buffalo will be conference home games next season, with Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, Toledo and Ohio as the road games

If the MAC really is keeping us away from Akron because we called them out on recruiting violations, we may never play them again with the crew they're bringing in next year.

I knew it...and when UMass and Temple leave the MAC, we'll move again. What a joke. I am so tired of BG being the only school having to jump around like this. This is the third time it has happened. It kills our rivalries with other Ohio schools and we're doing this for part-time members! It's BS!
And I just noticed this! The MAC, after not giving us Akron the last two years - clearly the worst team in the MAC - gives us a cross-over road game at Ohio??? The defending East Champion who will be right there again next season. We just took it right up the again!!
GC tucked his tail between his legs again, when dealing with the conference (that's his only hope of gettting out of here, with help of the comish) and SCREWED BG again!!

The MAC Council of Presidents voted unamimously to approve this. How can you blame this on one individual AD?

I already know what he is going to say, because it was "as recommended by the Council of Director of Athletics." If GC was the only one against this realignment, thus being outnumbered 13 to 1, there isn't really much he can do

The AD's made the decision and the presidents simply approved it. If he would fight for BG a little bit and had the respect of the other AD's, this might have a chance to keep us in the east for all sports. Obviously, neither applies!
How about the schedule? We get a lot of respect there the past few years too, don't we?
Who knows what machinations went on behind the scenes? Seem kinda knee-jerk to blame any one individual. The idea of moving west doesn't bother me...we had a nice little thing going with NIU and we were natioanlly ranked when we played out west. It just bugs the hel out of me that we hafta play OU at their place and we don't get Akron
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
