Tebow stuns Steelers

Post by gmartin »

Tim Tebow just stunned the Steelers throwing a 80 yd YD pass on the first play of overtime. Shortest OT in playoff history. Tebow runs for nearly 50 yards and a TD, throws for over 300 yards, most Steelers gave up all year and 2 TDs.

Feel bad for Shaun Suishum. He had a great season.

Tebow gets a lot of grief over his mechanics and accuracy issues on the short and intermediate throws...but he has a real nice touch on the deep ball. Another thing I like about him is that when he's under pressure he doesn't bring his eyes down..he keeps looking downfield for passing or running lanes.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I think Shaun had a somewhat disappointing season. The Steelers messed with his confidence a lot, which didn't help. There were quite a few situations where they went for it instead of trying a 45-50 yard kick. In the Cleveland game, the Steelers went for it with the wind and didn't get it, but had Shaun try a 45 yard kick into a very strong wind, which he missed. I stick up for him against a lot of Steeler fans who do not like him. I do not understand why. He has not cost the Steelers any games with missed kicks
