The video was hilarious! I also got this article from a twitter feed that made me see Tebow a little differently. Prior to reading this, I wasn't impressed with his constant public showing of his beliefs. I have no problem with people who talk the talk, as long as they walk the walk too!! Obviously he puts his money where his mouth is! Good for him. Refreshing to see at the pro level.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Why is this even an issue? There have certainly been athletes in the past, and much better ones, who wore their faith on thier sleeve. Guess he's sort of like the Kardashians with talent.

It's an issue because the media made it an issue. I guess that is what I really got tired of, the media overkill on it, not what he was doing in the games.

I remember back in '03 when Miami played at BG ol' Big Ben got down on one knee and pointed to the heavans after every touchdown or big play. Now there is a person of faith :snakeman:. I think FF is correct, the media hypes the snot out of Teblow for the same behavior/beliefs of other past and present sports figures and the general population thinks he is the only one that does this.

My real hope is that other athletes follow suit and talk the talk AND walk the walk. I have become a huge Tebow supporter and I was rooting for them against the Pats. Didn't think they had much of a shot but hey, you never know!
