Local preview of the game. I wish I could be there, but I'll be working.

Go Falcons!

I understand it is snowing from Detroit to Dayton and I-75 has numerous accidents. For those coming down this evening leave a little early, take it slow and be safe. Looking forward to a decent crowd. Probably be more tonight than there was last night at the men's game. GO FALCONS

Watching the video on the MAC site and announcer is just awful. He is calling Bowling Green players by the wrong names - including names of players who aren't even currently in the game. He's also complaining about the "calls that Miami isn't getting" on just about every play. Personally I think the refs are letting the teams play what is already a physical game, and I also am pretty sure it's not hard to tell the difference between a 42 and a 40, and an 11 and a 14.

BG playing really well out of the gates, up 24-16.

At least the MAC feed is free and we can watch the game...

BG leads 32-23 at the half...would be great to go on a nice run outta the gate in the 2nd half.

BEAT MIAMI!!

Well I will agree with the announcer, sitting here BG is getting all the calls. Fouls are 11-4. BG is up by 9 but I don't feel comfortable. Osborne and Boyer both playing poorly and I think one or both will catch fire. BG is still turning it over quite a bit and too many unforced turnover. The fouls will probably even out. BG cannot let up. Miami is not going away. They are 14-3 for a reason. They are only down 9 and probably played their worst half of ball. BG needs to come out strong. Ok, time to grab a hot dog.

And MU starts to make a run...only down 6 and they have the ball as a timeout is called. Gonna be a slugfest the rest of the way.

BG hanging on with less than a minute left...Slagle hits two FT's and BG leads 60-54.

Well I said 62-59, oh wait that was the men's game. I will say this, other than that terrible T called on Rogers BG got all the calls tonight. Heck, two officials called Rogers for a walk and then one ref over ruled them and called a reach in foul on Miami, Rogers then sank both FTs. BG attempted 20 more FTs than Miami. Rogers had her 4 straight double double. Going to be another fantastic drive home.

We got the calls? I guess it is good to be King...or in this case, Queen...

I didn't watch the game, but I always have a hard time believing that a team gets the calls. Especially the road team.

The team that is more aggressive usually get the calls, and for most of the game, that was BG. JMO

That would be none other than Bowling Green alumnus Tim Bray. Yeah, not the easiest to listen to on play by play.
