O$U turning point for the program?

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Those of you that follow hockey more closely than me...gotta question. The weekend with the Schmuckeyes...could that weekend start to propel this team upward? We were at the Saturday game and BG gave a killer effort for 55 minutes. Can we expect BG to start getting some wins on a regular basis? Currently, what does BG do well on a regular basis and what needs a lot of work?

It would be great to see the Falcons head up to AK and get a couple wins....seeing as they are right above us in the standings.

When we start scoring more than 1 or 2 goals per game I'll answer the question....

I think it could have been a turning point for the players but it wasn't for the program.

:?:
If the players are at a turning point, wouldn't that lead to a turning point in the program...or at least a positive direction??

And btw, if it wasn't a turning point for BG, it sure seemed to have a negative impact on Zero $tate. They got swept by the weasels 4-0 and 4-1 last weekend. Not happy for the weasels, but didn't feel the least bit sorry for Tattoo U either!! :-D

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Just raises the question, did we play that well against them or did they play poorly?

Oh Geez!! Just enjoy their misery for a few minutes. God knows they've enjoyed ours over the years!

Oh, I'm enjoying it. Just kinda being realistic. There's still a rough road between now and the end of the season.
