Jess Slagle MAC player of the week

Senior Jess Slagle has been named MAC East player of the week. She led the Falcons to 2 victories this past week. Congrats Jess!!

I've long been amazed at the way she seems to be two places at once or nearly comes out of no where to rescue a play, with her incredible leaps at just the right moment to prevent a stray ball from going out of bounds. She works hard out there on the court and is very energetic on the bench as well. I posted last week after the Cardinals game that the Ball State announcers on the computer seemed in awe of her, referring to the "acrobatic defense from Slagle" and wondering it there was anything she can't do. She deserves to be Player of the Week, AND is very much a team player, too.
