Good to see the program showing some signs of life...I hope they can continue this and build for a strong opening next year.

Yes, Hammy was outstanding, but this was definitely a TEAM win! Listen to the post game press conference. Bergeron, Hammond and Wojtala spoke about the game. Cam's comment about being "relentless" is why we won that game!! NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Actually, BG won becuase of the wave. After the fans did the wave, BG went on to score two goals. Hammond didn't do too bad of a job either. Oh yeah, and the guys that scored the goals did decent too. :axe:

How does a goalie win a game all by himself? I'm pretty sure that he wasn't the goal scorer for either marker.

We wore them down and did a good job of crashing the net.

Huge win vs the school that some folks seem to think we need to catch. They have an real old NHL guy and we have a young firebrand maniac worker who knows the game and developing players AND men AND graduates. And we have Berkle, Carpenter, Wojtala, Williamson, Mohler, DiSalvo, etc and soon five more difference makers- and they don't have those guys so just drop the puck and let's go.

We won.

Period.

Go Falcons!

I couldn't see it but apparently this is why Perrier was favoring his knee so much after the scuffle towards the end of the game: http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?9 ... -BG-Jan-28

Yes. Perrier's skate was on top of Walters' (between his skate and his ass). His leg literally bent backwards. Dirtiest play I've ever seen in my life. What makes it worse was how late Walters hit him to begin with and that Perrier never reacted till he pushed down on his leg.

Somebody from WMU made a dirty play? No...
