Any news on Coach Miller?

Post by HoopsFan »

The Roos presser on Monday was not very encouraging, it may be too soon to get results from the Wood County band-aid station, but is coach doing anything near the Stroh Center?

Only information I've heard is from the press conference. The Blade did a write up: http://www.toledoblade.com/BGSU/2012/01 ... sults.html

I got the impression from the presser that Coach Roos has been given total control for now; she said their contact has been very limited. She also said he's doing more tests in town and awaiting results, and will be "calming" his coaching style.

Hoping he comes back soon, but I'm glad he's taking the time he needs to get healthy. It also helps we have a week off next week.

But, that doesn't answer your question, because you already listened to the press conference, and that's all I've got too xD

I thought I read the he was cleared to medically to return to coaching but that they were just being cautious.

I recall a few years back Greg Brandon had a mild stroke and he is doing well. Still coaching at Wyoming.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I don't recall either and my parents live 4 houses down from him on the golf course and were good friends. If he had a stroke I think I would have heard.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him take the rest of the season off. Honestly that may be what's best for his health.

I had also heard whisperings of GB situation a few years ago.

I hope that Coach Miller takes more time than prescribed and would be fine with him taking the rest of the season off to recharge and get healthy.

I hope coach Miller is going to a first class hospital for treatment. He needs to get the best care.

What's wrong with the Student Health Center on-campus?

Oops! That's right. Not a student so he has to go to Wood County Hospital.

Transfer
!st thing they'll do @ Wood Co. is put him on a heart monitor & check all that out.

Just hope he's getting better.....figuring out how he can continue coaching but with a different demeanor... as I say to the women YOU CAN!!! we miss him but he'll know when he's ready. Family head is under the weather & the flock is ruffled

Curt coached today's game. Occasionally he'd put an ice pack on his neck, I thought Jennifer and Brandi did a bit more of the shouting from the bench, but he was there coaching.

good to hear. The other coaches probably enjoyed yelling and hopefully he was able to "relax" to the extent that's possible while coaching.
